JUNE LUNCHEON MEETING
Houston Claims Association's
June luncheon meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza Brookhollow Hotel, 12801
Northwest Freeway, Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 11:15 a.m. Bob Shults of
McFall, Breitbeil & Shults, PC will present "Spotlight on Articles 21.21
and 21.55." The one-hour consumer protection course has been approved by the
Texas Department of Insurance. Cost is $25.00 for members; $30.00 for
non-members. Please RSVP attendees' names to the Association office (phone/fax
281-933-4028) or register through HCA web page
by 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 6. If you plan to attend CE Seminar #57, please
use the registration form; with seminar registration, you are automatically
registered for the luncheon program.
Newly elected officers will be installed at the June
luncheon meeting.
VENDORS: If you want a display table, please advise
when your luncheon reservations are made. Remember you must be a current
advertiser in the HCA newsletter.
If you have special
dietary needs, please let us know when reservations are made.

topic you would like to have presented or a speaker you would like to hear,

JUNE CE SEMINAR #57
Courses have been approved for the
Association's CE Seminar #57, June 11. During the morning session, engineers
from SEA, Ltd. will present the following topics: Lightning Claims for
Adjusters, Low Speed Accident Reconstruction, and (just in time for the season)
Hurricane Damage Evaluations. Luncheon hour will be consumer protection
presented by Bob Shults of McFall, Breitbell, & Shults. Your registration
form is included in this newsletter below. Please complete the form and submit
it with payment prior to the seminar.

TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER TOURNAMENT
Because everyone had such a
great time at the January tournament and a number of requests have come in for
another, plans are being developed to hold one mid-August. Details will be out
soon.
SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Please remember to send your
college/university's financial/scholarship office information to the
Association office by July 1. Checks will be mailed directly to the schools on
August 1.

UPDATES
