SEPTEMBER LUNCHEON MEETING

Houston Claims Association's September luncheon meeting will be held Wednesday, September 8, 11:15 am, at the Hilton SW, 6780 SW Freeway. Paulette Janak of ServiceMaster Southwest will present a one-hour program on "Water Damage Mitigation." The program has been approved by TDI for one hour general credit. Cost is $25.00 for members; $30.00 for non-members. Please RSVP attendees' names to the Association, phone/fax 281.933.4028 or register through HCA website, by 5:00 pm, Friday, September 3.

If you have special dietary needs, please let us know when reservations are made.

VENDORS: If you are a current advertiser in the HCA newsletter/web page and would like a display table, please advise when your reservations are made.

HCA CE SEMINAR #64

CE Seminar #64 will be held Wednesday, October 13. Three (3) hours of general credit and one (1) hour of ethics will be offered. See the registration form below for details. To facilitate registration, please use the registration form to preregister and prepay. If you are interested in the luncheon hour only, please register through the website or Association office.

2010 FALL GOLF TOURNAMENT

It's time to make your plans to be a part of HCA's annual Fall Golf Tournament. Mark your calendars for Monday, October 4, 9:00 am, shotgun start at Hermann Park Golf Course, 2155 N. MacGregor, Houston, TX 77030. Proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program. Registration forms are below.

SCHOLARSHIP ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

Just a reminder to those who have students who will be applying for scholarships for the 2011-2012 scholastic year. The parent/guardian who is a member of the Association, MUST attend at least four (4) luncheon meetings.

TEXAS HOLD'EM POKER TOURNAMENT

What a fun evening!! Great food, beverages, door prizes, and games! MEMBERSHIP UPDATES

Sympathies are extended to past president Bob Hanson with the death of his mother.
