President Bob Hanson - Lamorte Burns & Company Bob has over 25 years of claims experience. He is currently the manager of the Houston branch of Lamorte Burns & Co., a maritime specialist firm. He has lived in the Houston area since 1991 and has been a member of the Association since 1993. Bob has served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter of the University of Missouri Alumni and is a past president and is a member of the Houston Mariners Club.
Vice President E. Gil Gushin - ABJ Adjusters Gil's experiences and trainings include TX-CFI, SCLA Silver, Certified Fire and Arson Investigator & Certified Police Officer, State of Texas, I-Car Gold Certification, 21 years All lines claims handling, and handling/supervising major storm losses. He is currently employed as Claims Supervisor for ABJ Claims Service and has been a member of the Association for 10 years.
Treasurer Paul Cinquemani Paul has 18 years of insurance industry experience. Paul is currently employed by Care Improvement Plus. He has handled W/C, GI and Auto claims as a multi-line adjuster. Paul worked in claims for The Aetna, Liberty Mutual, General Accident, CGU, and Zurich insurance companies.
Secretary Gary Schulte - Custard Insurance Claims Gary is a casualty adjuster for Custard Insurance Claims and has been a member of the Association over 16 years.
Sergeant-at-Arms John Vedas - Gallagher Bassett John works as Claim Supervisor for Gallagher Bassett and has been a member of the Association since 1994.
One Year Member at Large David Briggs - Empire Claims David has been in the energy and
transportation services for more than 25 years. Currently serving as Vice
President for both Empire Claim Services and Railway Claim Services with
specialties in both Maritime and Railroad related claims. David has a Masters
Degree in cognitive development and is a certified Advanced Corporate Trainer.
David is an All-Lines licensed adjuster and is a member of multiple
associations and affiliations. David has been a member of HCA for 3 years.
