President John Vedas - Gallagher Bassett John works as Claim Supervisor for Gallagher Bassett and has been a member of the Association since 1994.
Vice President David Briggs - Empire Claims Services, Inc. David has been in the energy and transportation services for more than 25 years and is currently serving as Vice President for both Empire Claim Services and Railway Claims Services with specialties in both Maritime and Railroad related claims. David has a Masters Degree in cognitive development and is a certified Advanced Corporate Trainer. He is an All-Lines licensed adjuster and is a member of multiple associations and affiliations. He has been a member of HCA for 5 years.
Treasurer Vicky Arnold - Marine Insurance Claims Adjusting Services (MiCAS) Vicky has been employed with CSL North America for the past 11 years. She has over 32 years experience servicing the Marine Insurance and Shipping Industries. She has experience in a wide spectrum of lines specializing in Ocean Marine Cargo, Marine General Liability, Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation and Jones Act. She currently supervises a staff of adjusters as well as investigation and administration of her own portfolio of claims. In addition, she coordinates with legal counsel to develop discovery and settlement strategies. Vicky holds a Texas Insurance Adjuster's License (All Lines, Marine, P&C)
Secretary Lyn Hunter - Headhunter Enterprises After 20 years working as a nurse, Lyn became a claims adjuster with a P&C license. Over the past 11 years, she has handled a wide variety of claims including but not limited to auto, BI, commercial, TPA, and construction defect. Lyn has been a member of HCA over10 years.
Sergeant-at-Arms Craig Taylor - John T Parker Claims Craig has 13 years of experience as a multi-line adjuster and is employed with John T. Parker Claims. In addition to membership in several professional organizations, Craig has the SCLA designation.
One Year Member at Large Sharron West
Sharron has over 33 years experience in the marine insurance and transportation industry.
She is currently Principal Adjuster at Marine Insurance Claims Adjusting Services (MiCAS).
Previous experience includes 10 years in the London Market as a claims broker and 6 years
with the Corporation of Lloyd's. The past 17 years in Houston has involved investigation,
adjustment, negotiation, and settlement of marine related losses.
